Q: Xcode on OSX server

I want to run xcode on one of my network accounts that is linked to OSX server. When I ran a project on the network account it would not run the iphone simulator. Not sure if this is a permissions issue. What is the best solution for this?

Anything relevent in the console logs?

Are all the other pieces of Xcode working?

Tried this workaround? (If that works, might want to log a bug with Apple...)

Which versions of Xcode, and of OS X, and of OS X Server?

I am using OSX Mavericks server and the latest Xcode. I have read on Stackoverflow that the iPhone Simulator only likes to run locally. This post was back in 2011 so not sure is that is still the case.
