Q: iPhone 4s videos will not play

Hi, i recently shot some videos on my iPhone 4s which i needed as evidence for a court case.

I transferred the videos to my pc to keep them safe.

I am now about to attend court and i tried to copy the videos back to my iPhone but out of 12 videos only 3 will copy.

When i checked the videos on my pc only the same 3 out of 12 will play in quicktime or using VLC media player.

The videos are MOV files.

I have tried to convert them using a few different video converters but i always get the same message that they are not able to be downloaded.

When i try to play them on the pc i get a message saying the format is not supported.

Can anyone please help me as i need these videos desperately for a child custody case.

Thanks,

Baz

I have just updated the os on my iPhone to the latest version and this has made no difference. I also have tried to load the video files via iTunes onto my iPhone through the load picture option and the load video option but neither of these have been successful, only the 3 videos which i am able to play are copied onto the iPhone.

    Help please!?

How did you transfer the videos?

Do they all have the same suffix?

Hi, all 12 videos are MOV files. I went to see the guys in my local Apple store today and they could not help, they suspected the video files were corrupted in some way whilst transferring them from the iPhone to the pc. I searched google today and found a youtube video which explained how to fix corrupted MOV files using some free software. I managed to fix the files using this software but they appear to have lost some of the content as some of the videos which were approx 20 seconds in duration are now only a few seconds.

    Thanks for your help.
