Dec 18, 2013 8:28 AM in response to flanjohnby SmOg3R,Since css style zooming no longer works in Safari7, you need to use extensions, f.e. this works for me on Mavericks:

Dec 18, 2013 9:11 AM in response to SmOg3Rby SmOg3R,btw, you can modify that extension to allow finer zooming: 105%, 110% etc as opposed to jump from 100 to 115%.

Jan 13, 2014 2:25 PM in response to flanjohnby krayzkat,This is ridiculous that this (seemingly) simple problem has not been fixed yet!
Please please please fix this. I am currently having to use a third party extension to do this, but it doesnt work that well. I just want it to work like it did in Safari 6

Jan 16, 2014 8:47 AM in response to krayzkatby luvindasun,I don't understand with all the battles between the browsers that Safari would revert backwards in user interface tools that make your experience using their product a less painful experience. Until their devolpers and mgmt decide to make their tools more user friendly, I'll be using something else!

Jan 16, 2014 10:07 AM in response to luvindasunby krayzkat,Yes. It is crazy that they cant get something so basic to work properly. I don't even think they have bothered acknowledging that there is a problem!
I also don't understand why more people arent complaining about this! Do most people on an iMac only bother with a tiny half screen wide image of the internet?

Mar 16, 2014 4:17 PM in response to flanjohnby CindyLV,I'm on a large screen iMac and my PDF files in Safari are always zoomed to gigantic letters, like the size you'd put on a blackboard 20 ft. away. I have to zoom out multiple times on EVERY PDF file I load before it is readable without constant horizontal scrolling.
It is very annoying. I don't understand why there isn't a default zoom size.

May 15, 2014 2:12 AM in response to flanjohnby hop1967,Please send feedback to Apple. They do not read these boards.
This is a really annoying bug and I keep using chrome because of this.
Here's what I sent (feel free to copy and paste):
I am not going to use Safari until you fix a very simple annoyance which Chrome handles perfectly: It remembers the ZOOM level per domain.
