Q: Two devices but use same iTunes account - can we use iCloud?

My husband and both have iPhones and use the same iTunes account for apps etc

We've never used iCloud but after spending an hour backing up his phone to iTunes (having new phone) was thinking about mine - my phone due for update soon

Question is - can we both use iCloud on the one address for two devices?

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.6

    Hi alizda,

    Welcome to the Support Communities!

I would suggest that one of you create a new Apple ID to keep your iCloud data separate.  You can continue to sign in with the original Apple ID on both of your devices for the iTunes Store.  But you would delete the iCloud account on one of the devices (you will be prompted to keep contacts, calendars, etc. on the device if you wish).  Then add the new iCloud account from the newly created Apple ID.  This article will explain in more detail.  Be sure to read the "Frequently Asked Questions" section as well.
