May 18, 2014 8:24 PM in response to Eric Rootby DugWell,I have tried all the fixes recommended in the following website:
http://howtoapple.com/mavericks-wifi-issues-fix/
These include PRAM & SMC resets, Set Service Order, Delete 'System Configuration' folder, Turn Off Bluetooth, Disable Keychain Sync', Disable 'Wake for Network Access'.
Also - have tried to renew DHCP lease
Nothing has worked so far.
Am pretty sure it is the new OS X Mavericks I recently nstalled - my Wi-fi is working fine on BOOTCAMP and also on my wife's PC.
Any other suggested fixes would be appreciated.

May 22, 2014 5:20 AM in response to DugWellby DugWell,Have finally solved my problem with Wi-Fi disconnect. I replaced the my older router with a new Linksys. It's interesting to note the new OS X was working just fine while travelling and connecting to a number of different servers. Once back home - I reconnected with the new OS X - it wouldn't work with my older D-Link router. However my Bootcamp worked just fine and another PC in my home also worked fine. Seems that the new OS X and my older D-Link router were incompatible.
