May 2, 2014 6:23 PM in response to DarkShadow1by Grant Bennet-Alder,If you are in the US or somewhere where there is an Apple store, make an appointment at the genius bar for a FREE evaluation. Physical Problems and Power problems is what they are best at, and they put their hands on these computers all day every day.

May 20, 2014 4:25 PM in response to DarkShadow1by DarkShadow1,i booked an appointment at Apple Genius Bar at Brent Cross.
staff tried to power on but no luck.
were told could be logic board , but will replace power jack first for £40 which i accepted.
then called me to notified me its a logic board issue total cost £850 including magsafe1 charger.
Apple did not to replace the power jack so i did not have to pay the £40.
Right, i replaced the power jack and have a green light on the charger only.
completely dead, not even the fans is spinning.
Could the graphics card, ram (memory) or processor would make the laptop not turn on.
not too sure what to do after.
has anyone come across this problem before?
can i have the logic board fix instead replacing/where to trust?
thanking you in advance.
