Q: Photostream website not working

I have shared a Photostream via Aperture and I checked the box that allows a public website.  When I go to view the public website I get a bunch of "!" instead of images.  And it says Photo can't load.  I went back and tried to view older public websites that I have made and same results.  Anyone else experiencing this or have any suggestions?  I'm running a MacBook Pro i7 with Mavericks and Aperture 3.5.1.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Firefox also does not show photos, just exclamation marks.

Indeed I got the same certificate error, however it's not expired (although it will expire in 10 days).

edit: it seems the wildcard certificate has been revoked?

Definitely a major blip by Apple.

My slide show and Journals are  back all of a sudden. Something must have changed during the night.

Try, if you now can also see your photos again. If they do not come back immediately, clear the Caches in Safari and remove all cookies (Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Remove all website data)

The caches can be cleared from the "Develop" menu in Safari: Develop > Empty Caches

    Hi all,

I got identical problem...I have tried IE10, Google Chrome and Firefox but it does not work anymore.

It seems working fine on IOS devices, Iphone & Ipad

When looking on any web browser, the HTML error message coming up is always the same:

<!--  IMPORTANT NOTE: This file is licensed only for use in providing the iCloud service,

or any part thereof, and is subject to the iCloud Terms and Conditions. You may not

port this file to another platform without Apple's written consent.  -->

I called support this morning but it did not help much. I was only told that they did some modifications and that I will not be able to see online public album unless using devices supporting Icloud.

Therefore, I did not get any reply when I asked why they have kept the option in Photostream to make the album public....it does not make sense to me and so I still hope that this is a bug and they will correct it.

The web pages themselves load, including Album title and buttons for "download" "fullscreen" etc. only the photos  do not load.

Same issue here.  Photos display on mobile devices.  They also display when using Google Chrome browser on desktop.  But Firfox and Safari don't work and only diplay the exclamation mark.

The iOS browsers and Mac Browsers seem to treat certificates differenly, that have been revoked. Apple needs to replace the certficate on the server hosting the albums by a valid one.   I filed a bug report-

Just called again and was told it might be related to Java update!! I doubt! However I was told this time that they did not make any change and that they could not really tell why it is not working. The information was passed onto a Support surpervisor who will be investigating further.

If anyone needs to check their photostream, & doesn't use or want Chrome (which doesn't seem to make the same checks by default) :

    In Safari : visit https://s3-eu-irl-115-prod.digitalhub.com

Click 'Continue' in the warning window that shows.

A page should load, saying 'The requested URL was not found on this server.' : that's normal.

    Now try a photostream.

This will only trust the certificate until Safari is quit, or for a period within the same session.

So, I found a work around... Use Flickr.  I've already posted one album of photos on Flickr and if Apple doesn't fix this soon all my future photosharing business will be going to Flickr.
