Thank You for the tip I already had those but they dont match what I see with air port utility on my iphone. Would you have any other ideas? I am using v6.x. I called apple and there techs couldn't help me. They said that apple dosent support port fowarding.

AirPort Utility on the iPhone is there for quick, simple basic setups. In theory, it might be possible to use an iPhone for configuration of advanced Port Mapping, but I don't think that I've ever seen any documentation regarding this.
I am traveling at this time, and do not have the ability to do any kind of "hands on" checks with components to check on this.
I am using v6.x.
There is not a version 6.x of AirPort Utility for any of the iOS devices. AirPort Utility for iOS uses version 1.3.x.
Do you mean to say that you have 6.x installed on a Mac? I may be able to help on some basic questions about that, but again I would have no ability to test a port mapping setup from a hotel.

May 22, 2014 7:34 PM in response to onecast2000by Bob Timmons,I have set up a spare AirPort Express here as a router in order to take a look at some of the advanced settings in AirPort Utility for the iPhone and it does appear as if the settings that would nornally be needed for port mapping are there.
However, some of these settings are buried 7 or 8 layers deep. It really would be much easier to use a computer for the setup, if possible.
Before we could have any discussion about using the iPhone to configure port mapping, there are a few basic requirements that would need to be met. Here, I am referring to Method 3 in Tesserax's guides, which is the way that I setup port mapping on my network.. I cannot help on the other methods because I have not used them enough to be familiar with them.
1) What is the make and model number of your modem?
2) Do you have a fixed, static public IP adddress that your ISP has assigned to you for your Internet connection?

May 23, 2014 7:10 AM in response to onecast2000by Bob Timmons,The iPad uses the same version of AirPort Utility as the iPhone, but at least the pictures would be bigger.
The PC would probably work if you install the correct version of AirPort Utility on the device. What operating system does it run?......as there different versions of AirPort Utility for different operating systems.
The modem is fine.
Unfortunately, not having a static IP address for your Internet connection is going to be a deal breaker using Method 3, so if you want to use that method, then the first task would be to find out whether Time Warner offers that service and what the additional cost might be.
Method 1 is obviously not applicable here. Method 2, I do not use, so cannot say whether it may or may not work. In addition, I do not use a PC, so cannot say whether intructions that apply to a Mac would be the same for a PC.
Frankly, there are a lot of "ifs" here. I can probably provide the basic setup using Method 3, but would not be able to help on any PC troubleshooting issues that might arise. Your best bet might be to have an IT guy set things up for you.
