May 29, 2014 1:55 PM in response to dewysinatraby The Art Of Sound,You have something turned on in OS X that is not allowing your Internal Audio to function in Logic Pro.. Hence the brackets around it's name in the Audio Preferences.. Check any other Accessibility features you may have been playing with.. Also, are you running anything like SoundFlower or another audio router app?...

Your Built In Output has brackets around it indicating it is not available to Logic.. Turning off Speakable might fix this otherwise go to OX X System preferences Audio and see whats going on there...
Alternatively, simply go to Logic Pro X:Preferences:Audio Devices
Click on the Output Device drop down and choose "Built-In Output" rather than "(Built-In Output)"
Apply the changes
