When I try to burn a DVD, I get the following message: "The disc can't be burned because the device failed to calibrate the laser power level for this media".
Anyone know what that means?

Have you tried a CD Lens cleaner disc?
What brand of Media is it?
PS. Must not be a Powermac, they cannot run any higher than 10.5.8, is it a Mac Pro?
