Question

when I start up there is a loading bar that goes half way then freezes

So jar launcher wasnt working for me so I decided to restart my computer but when I did there was a loading bar under the apple logo and it goes half way then freezes I am running os x yosemite 10.10 I found like a download of this online and no it wasnt torrent. So I turned it off again and tried it agsin and samething happend what do I do right now its turned off.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3), 10.10 yosemite new mac version

Because you are running OS X Yosemite, report it to Apple as a bug instead of the the Communities.

Try turning it back on again, maybe that will fix it.

i had the same problem after i took my mac mini home from work for a weekends. after 5 boot fails i ran it in recovery mode (cmd+r after power btn on) and checked the hard drive. but it was fine. i saw the wifi ico at the top right corner and connected mac to my home network. maybe wifi connextion helped or disk check, but after the reboot it finally started. good luck
