I will stay wit 10.8.? because is stable and everithing work.
Don't see any reason to upgrade after this experience.

Jun 8, 2014 8:22 AM in response to teladoyby rstreborg,The OnyX solution was only temporary. After booting this morning the problem returned. Running OnyX again resolved the problem but I'm sure it will be back. So far this has been in all three releases of Mavericks without a fix. Another post I read indicated it was in the beta releases of Mavericks too.
