Q: Upgraded to Maverick - finder (and some other) windows are stuck to upper left corner

Resized the dock and the window centered themselves from left corner

Here is a similar problem, and the solution worked for me. At least it has been fixed for the last couple of hours.

It's hard to belive that 10.10 is almost out and you still fitting with shi__y 10.9.

What is that 10.9 a (UPGRADE) has than 10.8 does't?

I will stay wit 10.8.? because is stable and everithing work.

Don't see any reason to upgrade after this experience.

The OnyX solution was only temporary. After booting this morning the problem returned. Running OnyX again resolved the problem but I'm sure it will be back. So far this has been in all three releases of Mavericks without a fix. Another post I read indicated it was in the beta releases of Mavericks too.
