Q: Itunes Store & Gift Cards

I redeemed a gift card and clearly have a balance, but when i try to purchase a song it asks for my credit card number. How do i fix this?

Hello AuntNina23,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

A payment method is required on Apple ID's that were not initially set up with no payment type. You are able however to change your payment type to None after the fact.
