Jun 14, 2014 12:44 AM in response to Rachitunesby King_Penguin,If you and your husband use the iTunes account then you should be able to redownload them (if they are still in your country's ibookstore) on your respective iPads via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app.
If you use different iTunes accounts then you could potentially log into the other's account on your iPad and redownload their books, but that runs the risk of tying your iPad to their account for 90 days : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627 (so you wouldn't be able to use iTunes Match, automatic downloads nor redownload past purchases on your own account until the 90 days have completed).
You can copy ibooks from an iPad to your computer's iTunes library by connecting it and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, or you can redownload them on your own computer's iTunes via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage. You can then copy them to the computer that your husband uses e.g. by right-clicking one of them in the Books part of your iTunes library and selecting 'show in explorer' to find where they are stored on your computer, copying them to a flash drive, and them adding them to your husband's iTunes library via File > Add To Library (you will need to authorise your account on his computer's iTunes via the Store > Authorise This Computer menu option)
