Q: I had iTunes installed on an harddrive that failed.

had iTunes installed on an hard drive that failed. Now I can not re-install iTunes. It keeps telling me the J drive is inaccessible. Yes - that is the problem, that drive is gone. Why won't it install on the C:drive where the rest of the Apple updates are?

For "Invalid Drive" errors when uninstalling or reinstalling try b noir's user tip:
"Invalid drive X:\" install errors.
