Oct 24, 2013 10:01 AM in response to Uwe263by Peggy,I have learned two ways to force the Mac App Store to recognize the iWork ’09 apps originally installed from the retail DVD or licensed downloaded trial.
Sign out of your Mac App Store account, quit the Mac App Store, relaunch it & then sign in. You should then see the iWork & iLife apps with an Update button.
Open App Store on your Mac & look at the buttons under Keynote, Pages & Numbers. If it does not say “Update” click Account under Quick Links, enter your password & click “View Account.” Next, click the “Reset” button to the right of “Reset all warnings for buying and downloading” at the bottom of this page, & click Done. Check your updates tab & iWork & iLife updates should now appear.

Any other possible ways to get the MacAppStore my iWork '09 Box Bundle to know?
P.S. Your idea worked for iLife! But not for iWork.

Oct 26, 2013 4:53 AM in response to Peggyby S.Bauer,Good idea, Peggy. I moved them out of the iWork folder, directly in the application folder. I reseted the history in the MacAppStore, logged out and in again, restart my MBP and .... nothing. Still no free update for my iWork.

Oct 26, 2013 5:00 AM in response to S.Bauerby fruhulda,There is a difference between updates and upgrades. Updates are for versions of the same main version. Upgrade is to a newer version like from Pages 09 to Pages 5.0

This thread is about "upgrading" Pages from 4.3 to Pages 5 (now at 5.2). It has nothing to do with purchasing Pages 4.
So what are you trying to do? Get Pages 4 or get Pages 5?
