Q: CleanMyMac 2 causing problems in Mavericks 10.9.1

I just recentley updated my Mac Pro to Mavericks 10.9.1 and I have noticed CleanMyMac 2 causing some major issues. For some reason, whenever I run the app and use it for something (uninstall something, clean up system, etc) It removes all of my icons in some folders and areas of the system (Applications folder, etc.) So I am just advising that all people running Mavericks 10.9.1 stay away from CleanMyMac2. I do not believe that I am causing this problem or my Mac because I am running a fresh install of Mavericks. I have been using clean my Mac since Snow Leopard and it has never given me this problem so I think it just has to do with Mavericks and that it will most likely be fixed in the next update.

Is anyone else running Mavericks 10.9.1 experiencing this problem with clean my Mac as well? Hopefully I can see you some people from the stress of trying to find out why Half of their icons have disappeared for no reason.

    Dear All

Cleanmymac creates several issues... i have reinstalled my os 3 times and today realised that it was because of cleanmymac. Apple support has done all sort of cleaning but to no help have downloaded latest os installer and using it.

    Reinstalling OS serves the purpose.
