Q: Always logged out with the lastest update

Have you been logged out of the forums after existing firefox?   I guess this is a feature.  I was able to stay logged in for several days with the prior software.

I have a separate apple id for my iPhone so there is no security risk for me with my forum id.

For me, appears to be less than 30 minutes (15 - 20 ??) of inactivity and I have to start over. Annoying.

    rcc AND babowa

It is not only FF but any browser.

I agree with the 30 mins AND the quit browser - not because I like it but because most folks are REALLY lax with their security.

I could go a YEAR and it wouldn't matter, cuz I am the only one who EVER has access to this computer, That is not the case for most in business or school settings.

    Hi CCC,

Thank you. Now I see the reason for timeout (automatic logout).

Also, thanks for your tip (in another thread) on the Quote Previous Message tool:

    You're welcome, sensei

Still doesn't explain why the magic twanger disappears in andvanced editor tho ? ? ? ?

I just discovered the "A" 'insert link' tool's coolness. I thought it was just to help someone to form a URL properly... Oh NO! Has that PLUS choices for recent (Site)Browsing History and SEARCH All Content. I will post to original 'positive' thread for your perusal.

Aside... I did some research re: white space design here and on J i v e's site. Definititely designed to iOS. Will post proof in new thread.

These firefox addons may be of interest:

An auto reload a forum page may defeat the timed logout.

    ReloadEvery 28.0.2

    by Jaap Haitsma

Reloads web pages every so many seconds or minutes. The function is accessible via the context menu (menu you get when you right click on a web page) or via tab context menu (right click on the tab)

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/reloadevery/

Someone may be able to use this tools to automatically click on the more link to expand the list of threads.

    AutoPager 0.8.0.10

    by Wind Li

AutoPager automatically loads next pages when you reach the end of a page. It works on a ton of sites,Google,Yahoo..
It works well with most other add-ons adblock plus, WOT and most of the greasemonkey scripts.
    You can also try AutoPagerLite.

beatcha to it. ReLoadEvery works great! VERY cool!! set to Custom every 10:00 minutes

I was just preparing to post the same to YOU!!

All open tabs that I have enabled "Your Stuff" page in one & "Using ASC" page in another.

It has been 2 hours since I acted  at ASC... remain logged in.

Problem solved (in Firefox at least )

    rcc.....

    You're welcome sir! Thank YOU!

Too bad couldn't just have a check box on login page " Keep me logged in." A zillion websites have it. MAJOR ones.

There must be a reason that we are being treated like kids, in more ways than login problems. I have been designing Interactive Media for a long time, I can't figger out some of this stuff function wise and I am good at it!

(although I KNOW why it looks like it does - keep an eye peeled for proof),
