Jul 5, 2014 5:26 PM in response to Annecummings32by randers4,If it's an iCloud backup, check to be sure the backup isn't still restoring. The camera roll is one of the last things restored. Go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup and see what is says at the bottom. If you see "Back Up Now" it is done restoring the backup.

Jul 5, 2014 5:40 PM in response to Annecummings32by randers4,Camera roll photos are included in the backup by default, so unless you manually turned this setting off the backup should include them. You can check by going to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of the device under Backups, then check under Backup Options to see if Camera Roll is set to On. If it was on when you last backed up, they should be there. If it was but they didn't restore, about all you could do is try restoring the backup again.
This explains how to restore an iCloud backup: iCloud: Restore your iOS device from iCloud.
