Dec 23, 2013 2:30 AM in response to randers4by Kara0321,★HelpfulI had tried that already and it did not help. My issue is that I do not know my iCloud email, so I cannot find it through the Find your Apple ID. I know my Apple ID I just do not know my iCloud email account which is linked to my phone.

Dec 23, 2013 11:51 AM in response to Kara0321by randers4,If you need to know your iCloud email address and you know your iCloud ID but not your password, reset the password for your iCloud ID by one of the methods explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5624. (Don't be confused the fact that this article explains how to reset the password for your Apple ID. An iCloud ID is also and Apple ID and you reset the password the same way.)
Once you reset the password you will be able sign in to manage your iCloud ID at https://appleid.apple.com/, which will show you the iCloud email address.

But the email it needs is my icloud email and it is not the same as my Apple ID I use for downloading apps because I know that email and password and it does not work. Apr 26, 2014 8:51 PM in response to NickC4422by gail from maine,★HelpfulOK, you need to follow these instructions:
1. Go to Manage your Apple ID and sign on with your current Apple ID and password. Then EDIT the Apple ID and change it back to the old Apple ID (this is temporary - Do NOT verify it, Do NOT change the password): Apple - My Apple ID
2. Go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and click Delete Account. Use your current Apple ID password when asked. Follow the prompts to complete the deletion of the iCloud account
3. Go back to Manage your Apple ID, and EDIT the Apple ID back to the New ID (you may need to verify it)
4. Go back to Settings>iCloud and sign on with your new Apple ID
You should be all set.

May 2, 2014 11:07 AM in response to denyjoverby gail from maine,Whether or not your previous email address is even valid anymore is not relevant.
You do, however, need to know the password to your current Apple ID in order to follow the instructions provided.
Contact iTunes Support to have your Security Questions reset for your current Apple ID so you can proceed with the instructions as provided:

Jul 9, 2014 1:51 PM in response to gail from maineby nostrodamous,★HelpfulAfter 2 hours of trawling, I found your advice and it worked enabling me to close an old iCloud account without the password for my old discontinued emmail address. If followed properly it is easy to use and quick. Many thanks Gary (and his iphone 4)
