Begin by restarting your Mac, post back, and when you do please include some information, which Mac, what version of OS X, things like that help.

    Byron,

your etrecheck report shows that you have clean my mac installed. That is very bad news. I will try to find someone's post on how to remove it (it is a little difficult to do it and I don't know the steps) - I'll post back when I find it or someone else may be able to post it. Make sure you follow the insructions.

while you're waiting, do a search here in the forums about clean my mac.

Ok, here are two discussions - read them both:

    Re: CleanMyMac: Unistall

Re: CleanMyMac 1 deleted lots of my apps like photobooth, terminal, mac app store, preview, etc. I use Mac OS X Mavericks. What can I do?

I would, also, disable the TechTool protection on your drive,

It really isn't needed and could be causing some of your slowdown issues, too!

The other big problem is that you have Genieo adware or at least some component thereof:

      [loaded] com.genieoinnovation.macextension.client.plist

Please look at this web page and the linked adware removal tool:

    http://www.thesafemac.com/arg/

Genieo has an uninstaller but DO NOT use it. It will not fully remove all components. Use either the instructions in the article I linked or the associated removal tool.

You also have a lot of login items:

    User Login Items:

      iClarified

      PopClip

      Dock Clock

      Mail Tab for AOL

      iBetterCharge

      Google Chrome

      Notifyr

      Battery Status

      Things Helper

      Printer Pro Desktop

      AwakenHelper

Determine what you can live without and get rid of them. Even with 8GB RAM you are preloading the system with a lot of dreck every time you start the computer. Set the goal of reducing those items to 1/3 of what is there now.

You have another known adware that gets bundled with stuff from some unscrupulous downloads sites--GoPhoto.it:

    http://www.thesafemac.com/arg-gophotoit/

The SafeMac tools should remove it but read the article to avoid future incursions.

As Babowa pointed out, CleanMyMac must go. But you have so much 3rd party software installed it's hard to know where to begin.

Start by removing CleanMyMac and Arcana.pram (which is not supported on Mavericks). Then do a Safe Start and lets see if the crashing improves in Safe mode.
