Jul 14, 2014 11:32 AM in response to Klaus1by Hemiola,I carried on looking for solutions after I posted the first message. Resetting the PRAM as I described resolved the USB issue. However, the clock isn't functioning so I need to resolve that next! Many thanks for your help

Jul 14, 2014 11:41 AM in response to Hemiolaby a brody,You need to replace the PRAM battery. Not a cheap solution, but once the machine is older than 4 years, it eventually will need that fixed.
