Try signing out of iTunes store then close iTunes. Now relaunch and sign back into iTunes Store then once in the store navigate to quicklinks and select match. You will be asked to add this computer. Do so and let match process complete.

Jul 20, 2014 10:28 AM in response to Firebird28by Noop,I have the same exact problem... I have been messing with this for a week and am about ready to give up.
It will just sit there saying 'accessing iTunes store' and never seems to do anything. I have let this sit like this numerous times for at least 12 hurs.
It there a way that I can delete and start the entire process over?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks
Anthony

Jul 20, 2014 10:53 AM in response to Firebird28by Jimzgoldfinch,Hi,
Add iCloud status to song view - go to menu, view options and tick box. This will tell you what has been matched, uploaded, purchased, duplicate, ineligible and waiting. Stop match process. Find those tracks that are waiting and delete them, don't move to trash. Now select update iTunes Match. If process completes, readd those tracks, a small number at a time. Once added, select update iTunes Match.

Jul 21, 2014 8:12 AM in response to Jimzgoldfinchby Firebird28,Thanks for the reply Jim, but I've given up on Match since it didn't 'match' my songs correctly. When it started playing the totally wrong song under the right title I decided it wasn't worth the trouble.

Jan 24, 2015 8:06 AM in response to Jimzgoldfinchby majormike72,Jim, thanks for the tip. This helped me figure out why my set up was taking hours. Many of my "songs" are actually podcasts which are 1 hour in length. So it's taking hours to run. Cheers, Mike
