Q: Relationship between codes

Hi everyone,

In my company we have several iPads of different versions that I have bought in the last 5 years.

I'm IT person in charge for these devices and I have always taken note of the code written under "Settings/General/About". So now I have dozens of codes like MC769LL, MC770TY, MD517LL, MC706TY, MD511TY/A and so on...

Now, my boss is asking me the codes written on the iPad cover, that is the codes like A1395, A1403 and so on...

My question: is there a table that associates these codes above?

iPad, iOS 7.1.2

    Model numbers

You can see the model number in Settings>General>About>Model. The model number has a two-letter code, a number and some more letters. The last part stands for the country/region. The first letter can be "F" (refurbished), "M" (normal retail), or "P" (personalized / engraved). For example MC605B is the model MC605 and B is for the region.
