Jul 24, 2014 7:23 AM in response to hjafby Phil0124,Follow the Pairing instructions for the keyboard again. You may need to press a button to get it back to pairing mode.
Different keyboards have different ways to pair so without knowing the exact make and model of the keyboard its hard to offer anything more specific.

Jul 24, 2014 7:51 AM in response to hjafby Rudegar,if the other device is present then go to settings->bluetooth and make sure it does not connect to it
it can't pair with the new device if it's connected
then go to the new ios device settings->bluetooth if it does not show up under devices then
put it in pairing mode (it has to blink)
- The green LED should begin blinking if the keyboard is not already paired and connected to another computer. The blinking LED indicates that the keyboard is in the discoverable mode. If you don't pair your keyboard with your Mac within three minutes, the indicator light and keyboard will turn off to preserve battery life. If this happens, press the On/Off switch to turn your keyboard on again. Note: If the LED doesn't turn on, make sure you have good batteries in the keyboard and that they are properly installed.

Jul 24, 2014 7:57 AM in response to hjafby Phil0124,On the iPad, can you see the Keyboard in Settings->Bluetooth? Making sure Bluetooth is turned on there?

Jul 24, 2014 9:01 AM in response to Rudegarby hjaf,The other device is not present right now. Do I need to wait for it to be present so it can be cleared? My green LED turns on for a few mins and turns right back off. My Bluetooth is on but nothing shows up that the ipad can pair with. Could this be a defect in the keyboard? What's the next best thing for me to do?
