Jun 7, 2015 4:55 PM in response to lam213by cyberbiker,I believe the Part number for the A1469 in Australia & NZ is MD199X/A.
MD199-whatever is the Part number of Apple's latest model, the A1469, which is the Apple TV 3rd Gen RevA (also called Rev2). The same modelshfave different Part numbers for different parts of the world.
The model number is 1) on the box, 2) on the bottom of your module and 3) on the Apple TV Home Screen at Settings > General > About.
From a functionality standpoint the big differences from the 3rd Gen Model A1427 is that the 3rd Gen RevA (currently $69) has the Peer-to-peer AirPlay, as noted in the tech specs at http://store.apple.com/us/buy-appletv/appletv
On the Peer-to-peer AirPlay page at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204289 Apple states "You can stream content to your Apple TV (3rd generation rev A, model A1469 or later) with software version 7.0 or later."
From a hardware standpoint Apple upgraded the 3rd Gen RevA chip from the A5r2 to the A5. Details are at
