Q: Kruptos-space saver app

I Have an iPhone 5 updated to the latest software. I have paid for an app called kruptos that is supposed to save me space on the phone. The application is no longer in the App Store, and the app freezes and stops working. Is there another app that does the same thing?  Shouldn't I get a refund if the app is taken off the market? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    That app should never have made it into the App Store to begin with.

    No app can do anything like 'saving space' as they are restricted to their own sandbox (an app can't access the iOS file system other than it's own files).

    You can try calling Apple and asking for a refund.

    I think you have a good case.

     

    In the future, remember that any apps that purport to 'save space' or make your iPhone faster or save your battery, etc. are fake.

    As such, Apple should remove them from the store.

    you can re-download any app you've bought, whether removed or not from your purchased folder on the appstore application. I would reccommend you delete and redownload the app through there first, as kruptos has been a lifesaver for my wimpy 8gb iphone! If that doesnt work contact apple for a refund.

    still can download from apps purchased and i am using it on my iPhone 6 on iOS 8.3

    I still have this app on my iPhone 5 with iOS 10.1.

    It still works to save storage space and remove app cache files.
