Aug 7, 2014 6:04 PM in response to rocktxby Kappy,Both computers have Firewire ports. You can connect them via Firewire cable. Boot the source computer into Target Disk Mode and the other normally. The disk drive of the source computer will show up on the Desktop of the target computer (or vice-versa.) You can then transfer files via the Firewire connection. It's fast and reliable. Works with any Firewire ports as long as you have a cable for it.
Is this what you wanted? Understand that what you are planning to do is considered illegal by MS because you can only have Office installed on one CPU at a time.

Jan 12, 2015 12:00 PM in response to rocktxby Kappy,The computer you want to transfer FROM should be booted into TDM by restarting it while holding down the "T" key. The other computer is booted normally. The disk drive of the TDM computer should appear on the Desktop. Use it to copy from like any other disk drive. Be sure you read the TDM link from above.
