Q: Getting a "The server responded with “400” to operation CalDAVAddCalendarQueueableOperation."

Running v10.9.1 on my laptop.  Since yesterday, have been getting the above error message.

I have:

1) restarted the computer; no luck in clearing the problem.

2) "disconnected" ical from the icloud, then reconnected it, the restared the computer.  No luck clearing the problem.

Annoying and any recommendations would be appreciated!

You might try signing out entirely by going to System Preferences>iCloud, clicking Sing Out, choosing Delete at all of the prompts (your data will still be in iCloud), then restart your Mac and sign back in.  (Your iCloud data will reapear on your Mac when you sign back in.)

I had done that before with no success.  Tried it again and by doing so deleted all my iCal data across devices, plus it deleted the iCal data stored on the cloud.  So I've now lost all my appointments.  Just goes to prove the "cloud" isn't fail-safe, and it pays to keep a back up on a traditional calendar.

Have you figured this out/found a fix yet? I just started having this issue. Syncing mid 2011 iMac - OS X 10.9.4 and iPhone 5s - iOS 7.1.2
