Q: Could Secure Empty Trash slowdown the system?
I started the process of secure trash emptying (with as many as 50 000 my Mac's cache items comprised in the beginning) and noticed considerable loss of speed. I launched Activity Monitor and in Memory section it displayed the graph which looked like in the screenshots taken at different time. So, could this Secure Emptying be the reason? After some time the system sort of recovered, but for future use I'd like to know this. Thanks.

Yes. Secure trash removal imposes a large hit on the machine. BTW, why? Unless you're afraid of having it (a laptop?) stolen and have reams of sensitive company or personal data on it, seems a bit of an over kill, especially for cache files. A restart into safe mode followed a normal one usually flushes cache files.
