Aug 10, 2014 10:33 AM in response to bgbandyby Eric Root,Would you post a screen shot so people can see what you are seeing? Make sure you cover any personal information using Preview. Post the screen shot in a Reply using the camera icon or you can drag the screen shot into a reply. Copy and paste doesn't work.

I have to add this that it has nothing to do with dock i.e if i move dock right bottom or left same thing.
the line appears before login screen is shown after reboot.
like i said before may be sth. to do with display driver.

Aug 11, 2014 6:21 AM in response to bgbandyby griff w,Hmm. If its not in the screen shot, then that means the issue is with the display, as opposed to the GPU. If the line seems to come and go, you may be experiencing image persistence. The article below has some information on that.
