If you purchased iPhoto on the Mac App Store, or if it was preinstalled on your computer along with OS X Lion (or later) , you can update iPhoto on the *Mac App Store*.
If you installed iPhoto from the iLife ʼ11 DVD, or if it was preinstalled on your computer along with OS X Snow Leopard v10.6.8 (or earlier), you can update iPhoto with Software Update (choose Software Update from the Apple () menu).”
when i do the “apple check for updates, no iPhoto update appears.
when i click the Mac App Store click, a window asking me This link needs to be opened with an application.
I click app store. ——> app store opens, no updates available.
i open iPhoto. click Check for Updates. here’s where it takes me: http://www.apple.com/ilife/upgrade/
“hmmm, the page you’re looking for can’t be found.
When i try

You can upgrade to the latest version of iPhoto by purchasing it on the Mac App Store.”
i get There is a problem with the subscription

so how so i fix this so all my photos i take with my iMac, iPad, iPhone will be on iCloud?

Aug 10, 2014 6:45 PM in response to blondieblue227by LarryHN,You need to purchase the upgrade to iPhoto '11 version 9.5.x - backup your iPhoto library, go to the app store and sign in with your Apple ID (if you used one to set up the computer then sign in using it) and purchase and install version 9.5.x

there is connection to icloud at all.
