Level 9 (73,087 points)
ApplicationsHi,
I have had Macs since 1991 and the Performa 400 running System 7
Currently I boot the three Macs listed in my Signature every day.
With my children I have had experience with OS 7, 8 and 9 followed by the change to OS X with versions 10.2 through to Mavericks at OS X 10.9.4
When I started posting here I concentrated on one App top start with.
That App was iChat and it has become Messages in Mountain Lion and Mavericks.
I still would think myself competent to take the exam as my view or the OS and it's app is too narrow.
The questions you have asked are just too big to be answered here.

So study carefully that book to be able to pass the exam.
Good luck.

Aug 11, 2014 7:16 AM in response to jainchetanby Tom in London,I'm having trouble understanding this. Are you saying you want to become an Apple Support Professional, never having used the Mac OS and not having a Mac?
Tell me I'm getting this wrong. Here's a brief summary of what you would need to do.

Aug 11, 2014 8:21 AM in response to jainchetanby Tom in London,Well bro if you want to be an Apple Support Professional you have to know more about Macs than everyone else - more than me, for instance and I have been using Macs since 1995. You haven't even started ! I'm not surprised you're finding the book difficult.
