Aug 12, 2014 10:15 AM in response to ReikiRevby Roger Wilmut1,However, though the format may not be a problem the regional coding may be. If you are in the UK, for example, and you try to play a USA DVD which is Region 1 encoded, you will be told you have to change the region in the player. This is easy enough to do, and to change back, but you can do this only five times. After that the player remains where it was set on the last change, and you can never ever change it again. Reinstalling the system won't help.

Aug 12, 2014 10:16 AM in response to ReikiRevby Niel,★HelpfulIt depends on whether or not the projector supports that video standard. NTSC is a video format, not a volume format.

Aug 12, 2014 10:19 AM in response to Nielby ReikiRev,It's an older projector, probably 2007 or 2008. My 15" macbook pro is a little small for a group of people to watch, but we could probably do it if necessary. I can connect it to my Bose bluetooth speaker for sound.
