Aug 13, 2014 4:44 PM in response to Dragon Touch86by Tom Gewecke,The rectangle symbol means the font being used does not contain the character. Do you have the same problem with the Apple fonts Khmer MN and Khmer Sangam MN? If so, what character exactly is appearing as a square?

Aug 14, 2014 3:05 AM in response to Dragonth86by Tom Gewecke,In order to help you I need the answer to the quesitons I asked earlier:
Do you have the same problem with the Apple fonts Khmer MN and Khmer Sangam MN? If so, what character exactly is appearing as a square?
PS I believe that Khmer by itself is not yet supported by the iBookstore (if that matters). English with some Khmer text may be OK.

Aug 14, 2014 7:17 AM in response to Tom Geweckeby Dragon Touch86,I have tested the two Apple Font: Khmer MN and Khmer Sangam MN. Most of the time, the iBook renders the content of these fonts correctly. But in some case, it render as rectangle symbol (when i switch the page a bit quickly around 20 pages then the rectangle symbol appears sometimes).

Aug 16, 2014 3:10 AM in response to Dragon Touch86by Tom Gewecke,★HelpfulThanks! It looks like it could be a bug in the ibooks app. Try using another epub reader app for your ipad and see if that works right.

Aug 30, 2014 11:50 AM in response to Tom Geweckeby Dragon Touch86,Hi Tom ,
I have just fixed this problem. It causes from the text is rendered before the font completely loading.
So i just make sure to load the font first and then render the text, it solve the problem.
Anyway, kindly thanks for your always quick reply
