When you select 'new' My Templates is at the bottom of the templates folder/window.

You can't change the name or add further My Template folders in Pages 5.2. You can in Pages '09.

You can delete or change the names of your templates in Pages 5.2 by right clicking on the template name.

To update a template you would need to delete the old one and replace it with a new copy, or try to save your template with exactly the same name, including upper and lower case letters.

But you didn't answer the question of where they are stored. They used to be in Library>Application Support>iWorks>

but that folder no longer exists. Anyone know where they are now stored?

You can't have dedicated named folders for your template in Pages 5.5.1 like you had in Pages '09.

To change the name of your templates or delete them them, right click on the template in the Template Chooser.

Or use Pages '09 and get a bonus 100 features as well.

Did you ever get an answer to this? I'd like to know as well. How else can I share templates with others if I can't find them myself.

    Hi Wayne,

Open a template. It will open as a document. Save and share that document. Recipients can open it and Save as Template on their machine.

    Regards,

    Ian.

I know this is an old question, but for others searching for the current answer, the current location of template files is /Users/[username]/Library/Containers/com.apple.iWork.Pages/Data/Library/Applica tion Support/User Templates

You will have to right-click (control-click) and use "Show Package Contents" to get beyond com.apple.iWork.Pages, which appears as a Pages file itself. As always, use caution when playing with files inside packages. You can mess things up. To delete or rename templates, better to right-click (control-click) on the icon in the Template Chooser!
