Q: How to stop CIJScannerRegister to connect online?
Hi
I find out that my mac keeps trying to connect online with CIJScannerRegister.
Little Snitch application didn't propose me to setup a rule to stop the behavior of CIJScannerRegister.
What is it exactly? I found that it is a Canon printer related app(?)
and more important can I stop this non ending online behavior?
I hate to hear the fan of the Mac running nonstop from on, till off.
How to do stop CIJScannerRegister?
Please explain me step by step if possible,
specially if I have to use Terminal or so.
I'd rather use the coding way, but
if you got as well a solution with some rule from Little Snitch, pls let me know too.
Thank you for your help
Dear all, Dear Apple community thank you in advance.

In System Preferences > Users & Groups, use the system password to unlock this preference, then select the Login Items tab. Is CIJScannerRegister listed in the login items window. You can stop it by removing it. Click the lock icon again to secure this preference. Reboot.
If not above, then:
Check the following locations for the CIJScannerRegister name string ending in .plist. You can use the Finder window. If you do find it, drag it to the Trash.
/Users/your-directory/Library/LaunchAgents
/System/Library/LaunchDaemons
/Library/LaunchDaemons
/Library/StartupItems
