Q: Sharing Downloaded Music from CD

Why won't my downloaded music from a cd synch to my devices (iPod nano, iPhone 4s, and iPad 2)? The music is in my iTunes library, but in the list of my music, the iCloud symbol does not appear next to the recent songs I downloaded. Prior downloads I downloaded from CD's have the iCloud symbol next to them and so they are on all my devices. can someone help me get these new downloaded music into the cloud?

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.1.2

Sounds like you are using itunes match - try to update it. Go to itunes and click store - update match.

Thanks.  Am I correct that the only way to get my music downloaded to my iTunes Library to my Apple devices can only be added if you subscribe to Music Match?

If so, I subscribed to Music Match, and after I purchased the subscription, in my library, and the music I downloaded from my CD are still missing the little iCloud icon next to those songs.  All my purchases have the iCloud icon.  I synched again, but nothing changed.

Can you or anyone else help me get these songs to my Apple devices?  I do not know what to do and I really don't see any additional features now that I paid $24.99 for this subscription.

When you add additional ripped CD tracks to your library, you will need to rerun the match process to get them into iTunes Match. In addition, you may fiond some troubleshooting steps here: iTunes Store: Troubleshooting iTunes Match

First we need to establish is if you did or didn't subscribe to match before posed that question. If you did you will not be able to sync your devices anymore and if you didn't then there is no way for your ripped off CD's to get in icloud. So one way or the other you will not be able to do whatever you are trying to do. That is bad news. Now good news - if you will be able to answer one stupid question after another someone here can try to help you. So did you subscribe to itunes match before or after you asked your first question.

If you did before - did you get a chance to upload your CD's.

If you did after - wrong move.

Thanks to all of you. I'm new to Music Match, so based on your suggestions, I went to settings>music I noticed Music Match wasn't enabled. I enabled it and my previous CD downloads are now on my devices.
