Jul 15, 2014 2:42 PM in response to jason269by CRM813,Recent update: I have been getting this error and none of the solutions listed at the link you provided work (the linked webpage was last updated in 2011). Maybe there is a more current issues with new versions of the software not addressed in that article. When I deleted the contacts from my Outlook program, they promptly disappeared from all of my devices and iCloud account. Glad I could restore. I have also un-installed my install of iTunes and restored both of my iOS devices and rebuilt them as new devices - none of those steps seem to make any difference. I suspect that there must be corrupted files on my machine that never get fully removed, recreating my iTunes library is a royal pain. Any updated solutions that involve the iCloud?

Aug 19, 2014 1:52 PM in response to jason269by StuRob,I too have got the same problem and it only arose this afternoon/evening (GMT).
All online solutions prove unsuccessful, have removed all Apple software (except safari) from Windows host and re-installed, same problem exists... no synch working with any device.

Aug 20, 2014 8:34 AM in response to jason269by StuRob,So, after following the suggestions in this posting, https://discussions.apple.com/message/18373231#18373231, I can safely say that that's had absolutely no effect whatsoever other than waste nearly an hour of my time in the uninstallation and re-installation processes.....
Something has to have changed either on the Apple side, or the Microsoft side, to have had this wonderful effect of not being able to sync/backup my iDevices!!!!!

Aug 20, 2014 8:54 AM in response to robmalvernby robmalvern,I agree with TreenyLeonard - how do we escalate this to someone in Apple who can provide a definitive solution quickly?

Aug 20, 2014 9:02 AM in response to robmalvernby StuRob,For what it's worth, I've just provided feedback through iTunes... don't know where that feedback will go, but clearly some sort of update has been pushed out by either Apple or Microsoft to cause this.

Aug 20, 2014 9:31 AM in response to jerryt13626by carolinefromabingdon,Since installing the upgrade this morning, I have had this problem too. Nothing suggested is making it better, have even tried reinstalling. Hope a further update is released really soon to make this workable again?
