Q: Putting office on a mac?

Just got a mac pro for my son and have a product key for office home and student 2010. I want to put this on my sons pro. Is there a way. His pro has no disc drive. I know my daughter was able to do this at some point, but she has a disc drive

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014), Mac OS X (10.7.5)

The Office Home and Student 2010 is not a Mac version. Mac versions are either 2011 or 2008.
