Q: "iTunes was unable to load data class information from Sync Services" error?

I am getting this error everytime I plug in my iPhone. I've tried solutions from all over the internet but none seem to work. One solution mentions a SyncServices folder in \AppData\Roaming\ but that folder doesn't even exist for me. I'm thinking its a problem with my hard drive set up as I have moved my \Users\ folder off my SSD to save space and put it on my other larger drive. I've tried installing iTunes on both drives and that doesnt work. Anyone have a solution for this?

iPhone 4, iOS 5.0.1

We are all happy that our many hours of wasted time trying to solve this problem appear to be over. But lets not be too quick to sigh relief. Lets realise that something has happened which is making us all remove a safeguard to our bank accounts. I am not sure of the legal repercussions of doing this. Trusteer is recommended and provided by my bank and it looks unfavourably on claims of fraud when the user has not taken all reasonable safeguards. I don't think that removing the safeguard because we couldn't back up i-Tunes will necessarily be appreciated by bankers. So lets continue to badger i-Tunes, Microsoft and the banking safeguard people to publicly discuss what has happened, give advice and provide a solution. I am not immediately removing my banking safeguards.

With or without this software your covered by your bank for internet fraud

no where on my bank does it state if you don't have this software running you won't be covered - rapport works with your anti virus software and firewall  software and it's not designed  to replace this valuable protection - my banks words see below!!!

this software is known for its issues you just need to google it....saved me a trip to the apple store

    QuestionWhat is Trusteer Rapport?

To help protect you online, we’re recommending free security software called Rapport, from the financial security experts at Trusteer.

    How Rapport protects you

    • Shields your online banking details from prying eyes

Rapport works with your antivirus and firewall software – it’s not designed to replace this valuable protection.

    An extra layer

Works alongside antivirus and firewall – simply keep your current protection in place, and enjoy the extra protection of Rapport

Don't misunderstand me - This was a great bit of detective work and a great relief to me to learn that it was not just a problem for me and that a final definitive solution was in view. However -  I do not trust banks or insurance companies - who often try to get out of their responsibilities if the customers behaviour gives them any chance to do so - this is well documented occurrence and I have suffered from it several times. A syncing fault which can be solved by weakening your bank security surely rings alarm bells as having a potential malicious origin. My point is that our joy should be accompanied by increasing pressure on Apple, Microsoft and Trusteer to give us a permanent solution without having to weaken our banking security.

I have an iPhone 4s and a Windows 7 (64bit) PC. I am unable to backup my iPhone 4s due to the "iTunes was unable to load data class information from Sync Services" error.

-I have tried all of the suggested fixes in all of the various threads and none have worked.

-I do not have any banking security software installed. Have checked for anything named Trusteer and nothing of the sort is on my computer

-I have uninstalled all Apple products and deleted all suggested Apple folders and reinstalled the latest iTunes version. No luck.

Need help please. Want to use the iPhone 6 tomorrow but can't until I can successful backup my existing phone.
