If in iPod that means the music files got corrupted and are lost.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

Have you synced with this computer/iTunes library before?
Are you singed into iTunes on the computer? iTunes>Store log in?
Are you signed in on the iPod? Settings.iTunes and App Store?

It says that I have 0 songs on iTunes, but my iPod says that I have 27 (my amount of songs). Some of the songs still show up on my iPod, but I think that it's because those songs are on my computer.

As I said before, graye out songs on iPod means that actual music files are corrupted.
