Quit Safari and shut down your computer. Pull the power supply from it and your router for a few minutes and then connect it back.

Restart the computer and try again.

    Hi ..

With Safari open look at the menu bar at the top of your screen.

if you see:  Develop in between Bookmarks and Window, click Develop.

From the drop down menu you should see Disable Images.

If there's a ✔️ next to Disable Images, click there one time to remove the check mark.

Safari should load images for you on Facebook now.

In case you are not aware, Snow Leopard will not update beyond v10.6.8 which means you can't update Safari as well and you may encounter issues with images and other content not loading on Safari in the future.

You can upgrade to v10.9 Mavericks if your Mac meets the requirements >  OS X Mavericks: System Requirements

You can upgrade to v10.9 Mavericks at the App Store. Mavericks is free.

Read prior to upgrading >  Upgrading to 10.7 and above, don't forget Rosetta!

Also i think sometimes, when i have opened tab with facebook and tryin ' to open another different page in new tab it loads very very slow..but when i close the facebook tab and hit refresh everything goes normal.  Please help
