Q: Itunes cant connect to the internet
i downloaded the lastest version of itunes and im trying to sync my old ipod to it. when i open itunes it says i need to restore the ipod but when i click restore its says contacting the ipod software update server but then it says the ipod software update server could not be contacted. my internet is fine and everything. ive tried everything doing all the things on this website but nothing is working. i cant access the itunes store. it says accessing itunes store.. when i click on it but it just stays like that forever and also when i click on itunes help nothing comes up except for a blank screen. also the radio doesn't connect. and when i run a diagnostic everything passes except for secure link to itunes store falied. HOW CAN I FIX THIS?!?!?!?! i have a windows 7 but its not my laptop its my school laptop.

If you are still unable to access iTunes Store,
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
