Thanks for the question. I understand you are experiencing issues receiving calls on your iPhone 5c. The following resource outlines some great troubleshooting steps that you can try:

Sep 3, 2014 1:31 PM in response to joannefromworksopby ChrisJ4203,Do you see an indication of your cellular carrier in the upper left corner of the status bar? Do you see an indication of signal strength there as well? If you look in the status bar near the battery icon, do you see an icon that looks like a small crescent moon? If so, the phone is in Do Not Disturb mode and would not receive calls. See this support document for additional information on using DND. Use Do Not Disturb on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Sep 3, 2014 10:01 PM in response to joannefromworksopby ChrisJ4203,Okay, if you look at the phone can you see that you are receiving a call and just don't hear it ring? If that is not the case, then you need to contact your carrier to see why you can make by not receive a call. See if you have call forwarding on. See if the carrier has conditional forwarding.

Dec 11, 2014 8:34 AM in response to Kirstysumby ChrisJ4203,Check to see if you have Do Not Disturb activated. You would see a small crescent moon icon in the status bar near the battery icon. It can be turned on and off in Settings, or by bringing up the Control Center by swiping upwards from the bottom of the screen. The DND icon is the next to the last one on the top row.

Dec 11, 2014 11:59 AM in response to ChrisJ4203by Kirstysum,I Have been on the phone to Apple, been through all settings and possible options, none of these had been changed before hand. I'm now booked into to the apple store on Saturday. Seems like it's an update problem

Dec 11, 2014 1:01 PM in response to Kirstysumby Kirstysum,JJust a quick update, I have been googling the problem and some people earlier in the year had the same problem, was told it was to do with 2g and 3G updating not happening properly on their network. So go to settings and choose carrier. Take off automatic and select a different network from your own, wait for no service to come up then change it back to automatic. Low and behold my phone rings. Not sure if this is just a quick fix or totally solved my problem.
