Q: High usage of cellular data

I find my iPad Mini (Retina) is consuming more data compared to my iPhone 3GS & Dell Inspiron Laptop.

If I just compare my iPad to iPhone, I am using the same apps, visiting the same websites but data consumption is very high.

Is there any particular setting which causing this or is it normal?
