Q: My iPhone 5 Was updating 3 days ago when it finished doing some updates then it switched off then it wrote that the phone has taken itself to factory settings…

My Names are jonathan kays kays from zambia and my iPhone 5 Was updating 3 day s ago when it finished doing some updates then it switched off then it wrote that the phone has taken itself to factory settings but now when i try to put in my Apple ID to login inn it saying my Account is Disabled for security reasons i dont understand it because am the first owner of this phone and now doest it mean i have lost all the data like contact Numbers because if i have lost that means my Business is finished number 2 how do i make my Account Active because now am using my brothers Account to communicate i have tried all line for iTunes on the support centre which is 800*** and no picks them and this is my 3rd day i can't work please help me my iPhone IME No ****.

    We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple - I've asked the hosts to remove the IMEI number from your post (it's not a good idea to post personal info on any public forum).

     

    Depending on why it's been disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'

     

    You might then need to log out of your account on any other iOS devices that you have by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (Settings > Store on iOS 5 and below) and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on them.

     

    If that doesn't fix it then you will have to contact iTunes Support  : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
