Q: Cannot access iwork docs stored in icloud. Apple icloud data on all devices. Since iwork ios apps updated a coupke years ago, this has been non functioning. WTH?

Yes. multiple times. Multiple devices. Reinstalled iwork apps. tried again. New devices. Same thing.

I tried that quite awhile ago & I think it wouldn't complete or there was an error msg. I will try it again. i wish Apple wouldn't tout the process as seamless or minimize the need to have regular access to a pc or mac computer. This is a years long problem that has disrupted my business bottom line. Ever since the introduction of ios 7.0 my ability to use apple devices for business has been significantly hobbled! Anyway, thank you for the idea reminder. I will try that next.

It worked this time! All devices were signed into same account before I started. I used macbook air to sign into icloud, from account settings chose rest data & docs, clicked ok. Then restarted every device I own. Once icloud reset completed via the macbook air, I restarted it as well.
