The Recovery HD is strange, and I don't have my 50 gbs of free space that I suppose to have
This app called iPartition shows the free space
What I am supposed to do ?

Oct 19, 2014 11:00 AM in response to wendel lucasby Eric Root,Have you tried selecting the free space and then clicking on the - button on the bottom? Are there any ///// at the bottom right of the Mavericks partition that you can use to drag the partition down.

Actually I deleted the Recovery HD partition (I discovered that it was the recovery for an older OS X version), and now it is everything alright, the first partition automatically joined the free space
