Sep 14, 2014 5:05 AM in response to Jeff Shenkby greg sahli,Jeff, that "might be" the issue, but N_Drewww says the option is there just greyed out.
N_Drewww, try this:
1) Use a browser and go to localhost:631 (this is your internal CUPS print system admin web page - on your Mac)
2) Go to the Printers tab
3) double-click the Epson, which will take you to the detailed admin menus for the printer
4) choose Set Default Options under the Administration menu.
5) Look for the duplex/two-side option and enable it.
6) Don't forget to apply changes by clicking on Set Default Options at the bottom of the page (may have to scroll down)
Now try printing.

Sep 14, 2014 9:14 AM in response to N_Drewwwby Kingoftypos,This maybe a little off topic. But do you happen to have an iOS device, like an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch?
If so, add the printer to the iOS device and see if you can double side print from them. Print from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Sep 14, 2014 9:42 AM in response to N_Drewwwby Lanny,I see no reference on Epson's web site that this printer is capable of double sided printing. What documentation do you have that references this feature?

As mentioned before, it's not an option for you:

Sep 14, 2014 10:00 AM in response to N_Drewwwby Lanny,But you should be able to simply print only the odd number pages, then flip the paper and print the even numbered pages on the backs.
